Certified Assessment Evaluator : (C.A.E.)-
The purpose of the C.A.E. designation is to recognize professionalism and competency in a
wide range of matters covering property valuation for tax purposes, property tax administration,
and property tax policy.
Valuexpert members may use this designation in conjunction with the valuation of a wide range
of property types, property appraisal and assessment administration issues, and property tax
policy statements in accordance with Valuexpert’s commitment to excellence.

To qualify for the CAE designation, the following general requirements must first be demonstrated to be eligible to sit for
the comprehensive examination:
The candidate must have completed 3 years of Diploma in Engineering or Architecture from any recognized institute or
university or Graduate in any discipline from any recognized institute or university.
The candidate must have credit for the following seven (7) educational courses: - IAAO Course 101: Fundamentals of Real Property Appraisal
- IAAO Course 102: Income Approach to Valuation
- IAAO Course 112: Income Approach to Valuation II
- IAAO Course 311: Residential Modeling Concepts or IAAO Course 312: Commercial/Industrial Modeling Concepts
- IAAO Course 400: Assessment Administration
- IAAO Workshop 171 Standards of Professional Practice and Ethics
- The Case Study Examination (Contents not ready yet)
